This Policy is issued by Dmlink. Our Acceptable Use Policy prohibits content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
Before submitting a complaint
Confirm that you own the relevant copyright or are authorized to act for the owner. Consider whether the use may be licensed, permitted by law, or outside the rights you control. A copyright complaint should identify specific content rather than an account or category in general.
What to include
Email [email protected] with the subject "Copyright complaint" and include:
- Your full name, organization if applicable, postal address, telephone number, and email address.
- Identification of the copyrighted work or a representative list when one notice covers multiple works.
- The exact URL or another precise location for each item you want Dmlink to review.
- An explanation of why you believe the identified use is unauthorized.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its representative, or the law.
- A statement that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for the rights holder.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What happens next
Dmlink will assess a sufficiently detailed notice and may ask for missing information. Depending on the circumstances, we may restrict access to identified content while reviewing it, remove it, take no action, or contact the uploader for relevant information.
Dmlink may provide the notice and your contact information to the affected uploader where necessary to assess the claim or allow a response. See the Privacy Policy for information about complaint data.
If content was restricted by mistake
An affected uploader may reply to the decision and identify the content, explain why the restriction was mistaken, provide their contact details and supporting rights or permission, and confirm the accuracy of the response. Dmlink may share that response with the complainant where appropriate.
